(Updated, 1:02 p.m.) An officer was reportedly wounded in a shooting incident at the Presidential Security Group (PSG) complex in Malacañang park on Tuesday morning, Radyo Inquirer reported.
PSG Spokesperson Lt. Col. Mike Aquino has confirmed the incident, saying investigations are ongoing and a press conference will be conducted to discuss the incident.
Meanwhile, Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella said the incident was a “concern” but investigations should be conducted first.
“It is a matter of concern. However, we need to clarify what is was all about. We need to find out exactly what it was,” Abella said during a televised press conference in Malacañang. /cbb,idl
