Did You Know: DOH notes lower typhoid cases

According to the Epidemiology Bureau of the Department of Health, there were a total of 12,659 reported typhoid cases nationwide from Jan. 1 to Aug. 5, 2017.

This was 35.64 percent lower compared to the same period last year.

Of the reported cases, 191 were confirmed to be typhoid cases while 21 deaths were reported. –Marielle Medina
