Taxi driver in Carl Arnaiz slay case submits self to NBI

The taxi driver who the Caloocan police said was robbed by slain former University of the Philippines student Carl Angelo Arnaiz submitted himself to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Wednesday.
Tomas Bagcal arrived at the NBI main office in Manila at past 4 p.m. presented himself before the office of Deputy Director Antonio Pagatpat.

He was accompanied by his family and a representative of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) and a representative of Rise Up.

Bagcal said he is very much willing to cooperate in the investigation and share what he knows about the death of Carl Angelo Arnaiz and 14 year old Reynaldo “Kulot” de Guzman.

Bagcal is one of the three respondents facing a complaint for double murder before the DOJ.
Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II earlier said the Department of Justice (DOJ) is willing to accept Bagcal under the Witness Protection Program (WPP). /je
