The southwest monsoon or ‘hanging habagat’ will bring rains to most parts of the country this Wednesday, the state weather bureau said.

Specifically, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be affected by the said southwest monsoon.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Visayas, Mindanao, Ilocos region, Cordillera, Mimaropa, Batanes, and Babuyan Group of Islands.
