Arrested Pasig robber forced victims to undress
A robber who gained notoriety by forcing his victims, mostly females, to undress to prevent them from chasing him, was arrested on Monday evening.
Michael Ciervo, who was eighth on the list of the Pasig police’s wanted men, was caught by the city police at Karangalan Village in Cainta, Rizal.
The 31-year-old Ciervo was served a warrant issued on Sept. 7, 2015 by presiding Judge Danilo Cruz of the Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 152 in connection with a robbery-holdup case.
SPO3 Ariel Galvelo, Pasig police follow-up unit chief, said that Ciervo gained notoriety for asking his victims, mostly females, to take off all of their clothes so that they could not run after him.
“He doesn’t touch them and leaves them in a dark place,” Galvelo added.
The suspect is believed to be involved in several robbery cases in Pasig City, mostly at Karangalan Village.
