The second half saw the Webmasters sit their star center, 6-foot-10 Junemar Fajardo, down due to a foot injury and the absence of the reigning Cesafi MVP all the more doomed the Webmasters who trailed by 24 points 21-45, at the start of the second half. A 15-3 UC blast later in that stretch got them to within 12 points, 36-48. But a 9-2 Lancers run anchored on Edrian Lao pushed their lead back to 19 points, 57-38, heading to the final period.

Silva led UV’s attack with 17 points while Lao added 10. Roger Pogoy paced the Webmasters with 18 while Robinson Mohamad tallied 12. Fajardo played only in the first half and got just five points.
