4.1-magnitude quake hits Eastern Samar

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Guiuan, Eastern Samar on Sunday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The quake, which was tectonic in nature and one km in depth, was recorded at 11:00 a.m. according to Phivolcs.

There were no expected damages and aftershocks, the agency said. /je
