MAN GUNNED DOWN IN MABOLO

A  MAN was shot dead in barangay Mabolo, Cebu City, last Friday afternoon.

The victim,  who sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the body, remained unidentified as of press time.

Police said the man was seen walking with another man on Colina Street.

At one point, the companion  placed his arm around the man’s shoulder and shot him several times, said PO3 Ruth Bongo, homicide investigator of the Cebu City police.

NABBED FOR MASIAO

A JOB-ORDER employee of the Lapu-Lapu City government  was arrested after he was  caught engaging in an illegal numbers game during a saturation drive in barangay Poblacion last Friday night.

Gambling paraphernalia were recovered from Felomino Potot Jr., who is a member of the Barangay Intelligence Network.

He  was detained at the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office pending the filing of charges against him.

Police were earlier tipped off about Potot’s alleged involvement in masiao and swertres.

Police looked for Potot and found him selling number combinations.
