Palawan, Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the state weather bureau said Friday.
The ITCZ is a breeding ground of potential low pressure areas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies aside from isolated rainshowers, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Lightning, occasional heavy rains and strong winds are possible.
Coastal waters over Luzon will be moderate to rough, while Visayas will be slight to moderate. /idl
