Tropical Depression “Maring” will continue to dump moderate to occasionally heavy rains over Zambales and Bataan after it blew out to sea on Tuesday night.
Maring has traversed the Zambales mountain range and is now over the coast of Zambales, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 8 p.m. update.
Tropical cyclone signal in most areas were lifted but Signal No. 1 remained over Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac and Pangasinan.
Maring was last seen 10 kilometers west southwest of Iba, Zambales, moving west northwest at 15 kilometers per hour.
It carried maximum winds of up to 60 kph near the center and gusts of up to 90 kph.
The tropical cyclone is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Wednesday evening or early Wednesday.
Tarlac, Pampanga and Bulacan will have light to moderate with occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms.
