A 25-YEAR-OLD ginseng vendor was shot dead by an unidentified gunman in barangay Lawaan III, Talisay City yesterday midnight.
Isagani Vasquez Ravino died on the spot with a gunshot wound in the head.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim and another vendor bought softdrinks from a store near their rented house.
They were walking home when Ravino was shot.
The victim was rushed to the Talisay City District Hospital where attending physicians declared him dead.
Investigation to identify the assailant and determine the motive behind the attack is in progress, said police./CORRESPONDENT GABRIEL C. BONJOC
