Two weather systems are affecting parts of the country, the state weather bureau said Thursday.

The intertropical convergence zone is affecting Mindanao, while the ridge of a high pressure area is affecting Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected over the Caraga and Davao regions.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers.

Moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters are forecast over extreme Northern Luzon while the rest of the country will be slight to moderate. Frances Mangosing / CBB
