President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Duterte Youth leader Ronald Gian Cardema as a commissioner of the National Youth Commission for Luzon.
Duterte signed his appointment paper on August 24.
Cardema was one of the members of the Duterte Youth, who was confronted by musician Jim Paredes during an anti-Marcos rally at the Edsa People Power Monument in February.
Cardema is among the newly appointed government officials who will take his oath of office before the President in Malacañang on Tuesday afternoon. IDL
