3 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Lucena City buy-bust

LUCENA CITY – Three suspected drug pushers were arrested in buy-bust operations in Lucena City on Monday, police said Tuesday.

Supt. Arturo Brual Jr. Lucena police chief, said anti-illegal drug operatives nabbed Elmer Aguda and Daijay Jose Uy, in Capitol Homesite Subdivision in Barangay (village) Cotta at about 9:30 p.m.

The suspects yielded six plastics sachets of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 16.6 grams worth P30,710 in the street market.

Earlier, police also arrested Andres Villena in the coastal village of Dalahican at about 5:15 p.m. Police seized 15 sachets of shabu weighing 8.1 grams with an estimated value of around worth P14,985.

Police tagged the three suspects as notorious and major street level suppliers of shabu in their respective areas. CBB
