11 flights to HK, China canceled due to storm

With Tropical Storm Jolina (international name: Pakhar) heading northwest after leaving the Philippine area of responsibility, at least 11 flights at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) bound for Hong Kong and southern China were canceled on Sunday.

Outbound Hong Kong flights that were canceled due to bad weather were Cathay Pacific Airways flights CX-918 and CX-934, Philippine Airlines (PAL) flights PR-300 and PR-318, and Cebu Pacific flight 5J-108.

Their return flights were likewise canceled.

PAL flight PR-382 to Guangzhou (Canton), China, was also canceled.

The Manila International Airport Authority, the state-owned agency that operates Naia, called on passengers affected by the flight cancellations to keep in touch with their airlines constantly for rebookings and refunds.
