Barangay councilor nabbed in Sorsogon buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY – A barangay councilor was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Gubat town in Sorsogon on Sunday afternoon.

Raul Enorme, incumbent councilor of Barangay Bagacay was arrested in Barangay Cogon at around 5:20 p.m., according to Senior Supt. Marlon Tejada, director of the Sorsogon Provincial Police Office.

The suspect was nabbed after selling a heat-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to a police poseur-buyer.
