China Eastern Airlines to start Clark-Shanghai flights
CLARK FREEPORT — Starting on Oct. 18, China Eastern Airlines (MU) is flying the Clark-Shanghai route daily from Clark International Airport (CRK).
Chen Li Wei, general manager of MU Philippine operations, announced this in a recent meeting with officials of travel agencies and Clark International Airport Corp.
Since 2013, MU has been operating its Manila-Pudong flights. Chen said the airline was drawn to Clark because of the Duterte administration’s plan to expand the CRK terminal and build a railway from Manila to CRK. —Tonette Orejas
