No weather disturbance seen in next 3 days – Pagasa

/ 06:17 PM August 17, 2017

No weather disturbance is expected within the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three days, the state weather bureau said on Thursday.

Robert Badrina, weather forecaster of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) told Panahon TV that while there is no weather disturbance, the intertropical convergence zone will affect parts of the country.

The ITCZ, the merge of winds from northern and southern hemispheres and a potential breeding ground of low pressure areas, continued to affect southern Luzon and Visayas, Pagasa said in its 5 p.m. bulletin.
