Acting Interior Secretary Catalino Cuy has asked Malacañang to decide on the status of the three Interior undersecretaries who were linked to the ouster of former Interior Secretary Mike Sueno.

Cuy said he did not have the authority to restore the responsibilities of Undersecretaries John Castriciones, Jesus Hinlo Jr., and Emilie Padilla that Sueno took away from them.

“We have presented that situation to the Office of the Executive Secretary. We are just awaiting their advice,” Cuy said in a press briefing.
