The country will continue to experience hot and humid weather for the next three days, the state weather bureau said on Sunday.
“Patuloy na makakaranas ng mainit at maalinsangang panahon ang buong bansa dahil parin sa umiiral na ridge of high pressure area,” weather forecaster Samuel Duran said over the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration’s (Pagasa) weather bulletin at 4:00 a.m.
“Wala po tayong low pressure area o bagyo sa loob ng ating PAR (Philippine area of responsibility). Itong pong weather situation na ito ay magpapatuloy hanggang tatlong araw,” Duran added.
(We don’t have a low pressure area or storm inside PAR. This weather situation will continue for three days.)
Despite this, Pagasa said the entire country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some isolated light, to occasionally heavy rains, gusty winds and lightning.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest to southeast will prevail over Luzon, and from the south to southwest over the rest of the country.
The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, Pagasa reported. JE
