MANILA, Philippines—An aerial spray plane crashed in Compostela Valley due to engine trouble, police said Friday.
According to Philippine National Police spokesman Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., the plane, owned by Mactan Aviation Company, went down at 8:45 a.m. at Purok 6, Barangay (village) Lagab, Compostela, Compostela Valley Province.
The pilot was unharmed but the cost of damage has yet to be determined, Cruz said.
