Korean man beats wife over unanswered phone calls
The Quezon City police arrested on Monday a Korean man for allegedly beating his wife after she failed to answer his phone calls because she was driving home after a nightout with friends.
Hyunsup Chae, 41, was taken into custody for mauling Rowena Daño Chae, inside their house in Barangay Batasan Hills at 2:30 a.m.
A report to Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar, QCPD director, said the suspect grabbed his wife by the hair in front of their children and beat her up. —Jhesset O. Enano
