Extreme Northern Luzon will continue to be rainy, with moderate to occasionally strong winds, on Wednesday due to the southwest monsoon, or “habagat,” according to bulletin released at 4 p.m. on Tuesday by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The coastal waters in the said area will be moderate to occasionally rough.

A ridge of high pressure area, meanwhile, will affect the rest of Luzon and Visayas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or chances of occasionally heavy rains and gusty winds due to thunderstorms, Pagasa said.

Light to moderate winds from the south to southwest, with slight to moderate seas, are still expected. –Renz Paolo B. Regis, trainer /atm
