The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday the results of the August 2017 Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist licensure examinations.
PRC said that 802 of the 1,277 examinees passed the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination.
Bret Tibay Pelesco of Velez College in Cebu City topped the test with 86.45 percent, followed by Venice Camille Benoza Patricio of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with 86.15 percent and Daniel Dominick Go Te of Cebu Doctors’ University in Mandaue City with 86 percent.
Meanwhile, 215 out of the 295 passed the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination.
Daisy Joyce Lucernas Madali of De La Salle University topped the exam with 83.20 percent, followed by Julian Elijah Baniqued Deabanico and Eliza Camille Rabena Hugo, both from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), with 82 percent, and Gennelyn Lagulay Ariosa of Velez College with 81.40 percent.
UST was the top performing school in both exams with 98.97 percent passing rate in the Physical Therapist Licensure Examination and 94.37 percent in the Occupational Therapist Licensure Examination.
The exams were administered by the Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu.
The results were released in two working days from the last day of examinations.
