Loaded dump truck hit a house in Tarlac

BAMBAN, TARLAC—The rear tire of a dump truck carrying gravel along the highway in Anupul village here had blown off, causing it to topple and crash into a house on Friday, police reported.

The truck, which was on its way to Capas town, was traversing Anupul village when its left rear tire blew up, causing it to topple and damage parts of the house of Francisco Patio, in front of the Central Luzon office of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines along the McArthur Highway.

No one was injured. The dump truck, driven by Ricardo Bernardino, 39, was registered in Bulacan province to the Archer Reality Development Corporation, whose workers helped clear the road of debris.  GAL
