The Mactan Cebu International Airport was reopened late Friday night after airport workers removed a Cebu Pacific jet plane which overshot the runway.

Because of this, Cebu Pacific said it will be deploying a replacement aircraft from Manila to carry passengers affected by the incident involving flight 5J570 earlier.

According to Cebu Pacific, the estimated time of departure of the recovery flight from Cebu is at 3:30a.m., August 5, 2017 (Saturday).

“All affected passengers will be provided meals. We will assist in providing other necessities. Travel vouchers will also be given to all passengers,” it said in a statement.
