Mandaue cops to get free computer lesson

/ 07:02 AM November 11, 2011

MEMBERS of the Mandaue City police will undergo a free computer literacy program on Nov. 19.

Teaching policemen how to use computers will make them more productive, said Senior Supt. Noel Gillamac, chief of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO).

Gillamac said some policemen couldn’t do a particular job because of their lack of knowledge in computers. This setup wastes a lot of time, he said.

The program is part of the agreement signed on March 10, 2010, by the AMA Computer College and Chief Supt. Lani-O Nerez, former chief of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas./REPORTER JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS
