Metro Manila, and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Mindoro, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and possible occasionally heavy rains and gusty winds, the state weather bureau said on Friday.

The southwest monsoon (habagat) continued to affect Luzon and Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms.

Typhoon Noru, the weather system outside the Philippine area of responsibility enhancing the southwest monsoon, was last spotted 1,370 km northeast of extreme Northern Luzon. IDL
