Bilibid guard arrested for drug possession
The Philippine National Police’s Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) has arrested a New Bilibid Prison employee for possession of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride).
Based on a spot report from SAF, the employee identified as Prison Guard 1 (PG1) Ernesto Dionglay was subjected to regular body search while on his way to the Maximum Security Compound on Thursday at 9 a.m. when the authorities discovered a plastic sachet containing what was believed to be shabu estimated to be 100 grams.
Dionglay is currently detained at the Muntinlupa jail. The police are preparing a case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. IDL
