2 women dead in Batangas shooting

BATANGAS CITY – Two women were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in this city Wednesday morning, police said.

Senior Inspector Hazel Luma-Ang, Batangas police information officer, said the victims Jenifer Bagui and Divina Castillo were shot several
times by the attackers on board a motorcycle in village Soro-Soro Ibaba at around 11:40 a.m.


Victims suffered bullet wounds in different parts of the body and were taken to Batangas Medical Center for treatment but both died while
being transported there.

Police are still investigating the incident.
