CITE launches continuing education program

THE Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE) launched its Continuing Education Program (CEP) recently.

Over 50 alumni from different batches graced the event featuring a musical repertoire from Cebu Male Choir.

The CEP has eight module offerings. The first module will tackle entrepreneurial paradigms to promote the development of business enterprise. The second module covers enterprise management philosophy in supervisory or managerial positions.

The third is for acquiring specialized technical qualifications.

Initial modules offered under CEP are general management and human resource management (40 hours); marketing management (40 hrs); production management and financial management (40hrs); information system and business communication (40hrs); corporate entrepreneurship (40hrs); supervisory educational leadership (40hrs); specialized technical skills such as review classes for RME licensure (electrical installation and maintenance); computer aided design and drafting 2010 (60 hrs); Cisco Networking 1, 2, 3, and 4, review classes for the mational competencies certifications: Machining NC 2,building wiring NC 2 (8hrs); computer hardware servicing NC 2 (8hrs), mechatronics NC 2 (8hrs); consumer elex and servicing NC 2 (8hrs); and technical drafting NC 2 (8hrs).

Any alumnus of the Industrial Technician program could avail of the program.
