A man who police identified as a “high value” target in the illegal drug trade in Morong town in Rizal province was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen on Monday, police said on Tuesday.
Senior Insp. Maria Lourdes Usana, spokesperson for the Rizal provincial police, said Elmer Pantaleon, 53, the top suspect on the Morong police’s drug watch list, was gunned down in Barangay (village) San Guillermo.
Usana said at least three gunmen, using a motorcycle and a car, attacked Pantaleon at 4:30 p.m. Monday. RJLA
