Alleged drug pusher killed in Naga City buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY – A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Naga City in Camarines Sur province Wednesday night.
Senior Supt. Jonathan Panganiban, Naga City police director, said the suspect Junel San Jose was slain after he drew his firearm upon sensing that he was dealing with undercover policemen in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Tabuco at around 11:30 p.m.
The policemen retaliated, killing San Jose. Another suspect identified as Joven Dollano escaped.
Authorities recovered a revolver loaded with live ammunition, twopieces heat-sealed sachet that contained suspected “shabu”(methamphetamine hydrochloride) and P1,000 cash./rga
