Your royal dream job might just be on LinkedIn
If you don’t have a LinkedIn account yet, now’s probably the time to set it up.
You never know when the royal household will place job postings on the employment networking site again.
Kensington Palace, where Prince William, Duchess Catherine and Prince Harry fulfill their royal duties, put up a job opening two weeks ago that just closed last July 24.
The position? Senior Communications Officer for the trio’s Royal Foundation.
According to the brief job description, the role entails delivering news to the media, crafting a communication strategy and giving press briefings (no pressure, you’re only representing high-profile royalty).
Applicants’ backgrounds should fall within marketing, media or public relations. Plus points if you’ve worked “within the charity sector.”

Founded in 2009, the foundation’s main advocacies center on the armed forces, the youth, and conservation of communities and natural resources.
It also supports existing charities by investing in them or lending their extensive influence. One of their well-known philanthropic work is Heads Together, where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry put mental health on centerstage by sharing their own experiences.
Prior to this job posting, Duchess Catherine, better known as Kate Middleton, hired her new private secretary through the palace’s website. The website is updated with vacancies for other households as well. /ra
