Militants assemble in Iloilo to deliver ‘true’ Sona

ILOILO CITY—Protesters led by the militant group Bagong Alyansang Makabayan in Western Visayas  assembled at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand for their “true” State of the Nation Address (Sona).
The protesters decried what they said were unfulfilled promises of President Duterte and the extension of martial law in Mindanao.
In a separate protest action also in Iloilo City, protesters led by the Alab Katipunan-Panay marched from the Jaro District public plaza to the provincial capitol to denounce the government’s failure to deliver its promises to ordinary citizens. JPV
