Two PALExpress flights between Manila and Dumaguete have been cancelled due to inclement weather, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced on Wednesday.

In its social media posts, MIAA said the following flights were cancelled:

2P 2445 Manila-Dumaguete

2P 2446 Dumaguete-Manila

The state weather bureau earlier advised that metro Cebu and the rest of Visayas would experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms due to an intertropical convergence zone.

Airports officials said the cancellation of these flights had been implemented for the safety of passengers. Rogelio Nato, Jr., INQUIRER.net trainee / JPV
