Twenty-four passengers were hurt when a jeepney crashed into an electric post along Marcos Highway in Antipolo City Wednesday morning, radio reports said
Radyo Inquirer 990 reported that driver Edwin Moroña lost control of the jeepney before it rammed the post in Barangay Mayamot. Moroña was among those hurt.
“Mabilis kasi ang takbo niya tapos kinakabig niya ang manibela kaliwa’t kanan. Ngayon hindi na niya makontrol kaya ibinangga na lang niya,” a passenger said in another radio interview.
Authorities are doing further investigation on the incident. CBB
