Did You Know: Metro Manila has most HIV cases

Based on the latest data from the Department of Health, Metro Manila posted the highest number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in April among all regions.

Of the 629 new HIV cases nationwide, 37 percent or 234 cases are from the National Capital Region.

In second place was Region 4A with 17 percent or 109 cases reported in the same month. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
