Woman trader shot in head at drugstore in QC

A businesswoman was in critical condition after a man shot her at a drugstore in Quezon City on Monday night.

Rosemari Amarille, 56, was reportedly buying medicine for her husband at a drugstore on Katuparan Street at 8:45 p.m. when she was shot in the head by the still unidentified gunman.

The victim, whom the police said was the president of a homeowners’ association, was rushed to East Avenue Medical Center. She was reported to be in critical condition. —Jhesset O. Eñano, Pauline Faye Tria
