Thunderstorms to hit Metro Manila, nearby provinces – Pagasa

Thunderstorms are expected in Metro Manila and nearby provinces late Monday afternoon, the state weather bureau said.

Thunderstorm is affecting Bulacan (Pulilan, Calumpit, Baliuag), which may persist within two hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in an advisory at 2:10 p.m.

Metro Manila, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and other areas of Bulacan are expected to experience thunderstorms in the next three hours.

Pagasa warned the public to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods.
