Truck rams 13 vehicles in Baguio accident; 3 hurt
BAGUIO CITY—Three people were hurt when a 10-wheeler truck rammed 13 vehicles at 11 a.m. on Friday (July 7) as it descended Bokawkan Road here.
Police said the truck driver lost control of his brakes and collided with a delivery van, before it barreled through more vehicles on its way down the road.
It also struck a motorcycle, a sports utility vehicle, taxicabs and public utility jeepneys bound for La Trinidad town in Benguet before it finally lost momentum and stopped.
The collision triggered a noontime traffic gridlock along the road.
The identities of the injured people have not been released at press time but they were described as the truck driver himself, a motorcycle driver and a taxi driver. They were rushed to a hospital for treatment./rga
