Did You Know: Lucrecia Reyes-Urtula

Today, June 29, is the 88th birth anniversary of National Artist for Dance Lucrecia Reyes-Urtula.

A choreographer, dance educator and researcher, she spent almost four decades in the study of Philippine folk and ethnic dances.

She was named National Artist in 1988.
