Bishop Bacani: President’s health is a public concern

The public must be informed about President Rodrigo Rodrigo’s health, Novaliches Bishop Emeritus Teodoro Bacani told Radyo Veritas on Wednesday.
“The matter of the President’s health is a public concern,” Bacani said. “It’s not simply the concern of a private person. It is a matter of the public good. The public good is involved here kase kung Presidente natin ay hindi malusog, gagawa tayo ng paraan para matulungan siya.”
Bacani also urged the public to continue to pray for the President’s health.
“Ating mai-o-offer na ipanalangin siya sa Panginoon na ang kalooban ng Panginoon para sa kanya at sa bayan ay mangyari,” he said.
Duterte made his public appearance on Tuesday after a week’s absence, his longest disappearance from the public.
He also failed to attend the Independence Day rites last June 12, wherein he also disappeared for three days during that week. –FM /atm
