Most of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms on Thursday, the state weather bureau said.

Areas likely affected are Zamboanga peninsula, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, and Soccsksargen. An intertropical convergence zone is affecting Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

A ridge of a high pressure area is continuing to affect Luzon and the Visayas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the south to southwest will prevail over Luzon and from the southeast to south over the rest of the country, Pagasa said.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate, it added. CBB
