The eastern seaboard of the archipelago is almost clear of clouds as shown in this satellite image released by the Pagasa on Wednesday morning, June 14, 2107. The clear skies is due to the ridge of a high pressure area east of Luzon, Pagasa said. PAGASA PHOTO

The entire country will experience a fair weather on Wednesday except for isolated rainshowers as no weather disturbance was monitored by the state weather bureau.

In its 5 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the warm weather in Luzon was caused by the ridge of high pressure area east of Luzon.

“Kapag sinabi po nating ridge of high pressure area, maliit po ang tsansang may mabuong bagyo kasi hindi po mabubuo ang mga kaulapan,” weather forecaster Robert Badrina said.

Pagasa said Metro Manila and the rest of the country would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
