Drug surrenderee shot dead in Albay

LEGAZPI CITY — A drug surrenderee was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen Tuesday afternoon in this city, police said.

Chief Inspector Arthur R. Gomez, Albay police spokesman, said the victim Elmer Villacera, 37, a pedicab driver from Zone 4 Laplaya Subdivision in Barangay (village) Bonot, was shot to death by the suspects who were riding-in-tandem on a motorcycle at around 1:10 p.m.

Villacera sustained seven bullet wounds on his neck and body which caused his death, Gomez added. JE
