Cloudy skies, rain expected Wednesday – Pagasa

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstoms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Wednesday.

The ridge of a high pressure area continued to affect Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The weather bureau also released its final advisory on Tropical Storm “Merbok,” which weakened into a tropical depression midday Monday.

It was last spotted 895 kilometers west northwest of extreme northern Luzon.

“It is already outside the monitored tropical cyclone advisory domain,” Pagasa said.

Winds blowing from the southeast to south will be light to moderate.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
