GLOBE Telecom joined Singapore Telecommunications Limited (Singapore), Optus (Australia) and Advanced Info Service (Thailand) in providing relief operations in Ayutthaya, the old capital of Thailand.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) leaders from the SingTel Group including Optus, AIS and Globe gathered together in Bangkok from Oct. 12 to 14 for the annual regional CSR conference.

During the event, the group led by AIS decided to dedicate part of their time distributing relief goods and survival kits in Ayutthaya, which continues to suffer from severe flooding.

For a week, AIS has been running a soup kitchen manned by employee volunteers for the flood victims.
