4 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Quezon buy-bust
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested four suspected drug pushers in San Francisco town in Quezon province in separate buy-bust operations here on Monday and early Tuesday.
Senior Supt. Rhoderick Armamento, Quezon police provincial director, said anti-illegal drug operatives arrested Ranny Salunoy, 44, and his son Aristotle, 21, after the two were allegedly caught selling a plastic sachet of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to an undercover cop in Barangay Poblacion around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
Police seized from the suspects two sachets of shabu worth P1,295 and a motorcycle that the suspects allegedly used in their illegal drug operation.
Earlier, police also arrested Richard Pastorfide Pines, 46, and his cousin Norlito Pines De la Rosa, 56, in another buy-bust operation also in Barangay Poblacion shortly before midnight on Monday.
