The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) replaced the National Historical Institute by virtue of Republic Act 10086 approved in May 2010. The NHCP is in charge of the conservation and preservation of the country’s historical legacies. It holds office on TM Kalaw Street, Manila. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
